Open days 2026: celebrating 200 years of Observatory
2026-09-07
What goes on behind the doors of the Space Pole institutes in Uccle? On 26 and 27 September, you’ll finally be able to find out. To mark the 200th anniversary of the Royal Observatory of Belgium, the other scientific institutions on the site – including the meteorological and space aeronomy departments – will also be opening their doors to the public on this special occasion.
Laboratories, instruments, experiments, observations… but above all, scientists, engineers and other staff will be on hand to introduce you to their work, their projects and their passion for science and space. A rare opportunity to ask them your questions and to see science in a different light – from the inside.
